E. Christopher Jones
Founder · Senior Mobile Application Architect
With more than 19 years leading enterprise and public-facing mobile work, Christopher is a customer-facing senior architect and lead engineer who takes a solution from concept to implementation. He founded FORECYTE Systems — the company behind 4CYTE and the iOSHA suite — in 2007, and has spent his career translating stakeholder goals into hardened, touch-centric software.
He has delivered native and hybrid iOS and Android solutions inside tightly controlled, CMMI Level 3, project-centric environments — most recently as Technical Lead and Senior Mobile Application Architect supporting NASA's Stennis Space Center. The work spans push notification and alerting systems, geospatial and remote-sensing analysis, records management and extending industrial IIoT processes to the mobile platform. In addition, the OSHA behavior-based-safety and compliance-auditing apps that became the iOSHA reference suite.
Christopher engineers with object-oriented discipline and PMI / PMBOK project practice, designing web-service architectures for secure SOA interoperability, background data sync, and service-oriented mobile clients that scale. Across his career he has shipped enterprise and public solutions with budgets from $25K to $1.3M, timelines from 90 days to 18 months, and user communities from 100 to 45,000.
